The Weaving Shed Gallery is a professional, established private gallery. Perfectly situated by the sea, overlooking Hillswick shore and the amazing St Magnus Bay on Shetland. Hosting some of Europe's wildest, most unspoiled coastal scenery, Shetland is a thriving and dynamic island archipelago in the heart of the North Sea.

The gloriously renovated building is of great historical interest.
Restored and rebuilt in 2017 by Geoff Jukes as a tribute to his late partner Jeannette-Thérèse Obstoj.
Jeannette was a visionary writer, lyricist, poet, artist, and music video director.
The gallery houses a permanent collection and exhibition of some of the work of Jeannette-Thérèse Obstoj. The building allows for an ever-changing space for exhibitions allowing local and visiting artists display their work
This modest gallery is occasionally used for community activities and contains professional sound and projection systems.
Adjoining the gallery is a fully-equipped studio apartment.
The gallery is currently hosting a diverse exhibition including the work of four local and visiting artists
